Carolyn Devane
Owner and director of Power Prep Inc., Carolyn has been working with ACT students for 20 years. She has worked with thousands of students in helping them take their best scores higher and improve their lowest scores. Due to her extensive travel schedule amongst Kansas high schools, most of her private tutoring sessions are between May and August. Her superpower areas of tutoring are English and Science.

Emma Devane
Emma graduated from Kansas State University in May 2020 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She currently has a full-time position at Procter and Gamble as a process engineer. She does continue to tutor students in all subject areas of the ACT at a limited capacity. Emma scored a 34 on the ACT during high school with a 35 in Math and scores of 33 in English, Reading, and Science. Math and Science are her superpower subject areas for tutoring. She is living in St. Louis so she is only available for online sessions. Emma joined the Power Prep tutoring team in 2014.

Collin Devane
Collin is a freshman at Kansas State University majoring in Finance and Accounting. He scored 32 on the ACT while in high school with the following scores in each subject area: English 32, Math 31, Reading 30, Science 33. Collin tutors students in all four subject areas; however, his superpower areas of ACT tutoring focus are Science, Math, and English. Collin joined the Power Prep tutoring team in 2017.

Hannah Devane
Hannah graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Accounting and Finance, and she has been tutoring students since 2013. She scored a 33 in every section of the ACT herself, except for Science, where she received a 35. Hannah is a part of the distance tutoring program. Hannah's superpower areas are in the Math and Science sections of the ACT, but she is available for all areas of the test, including English and Reading. Hannah joined the Power Prep team in 2013.

Derek Shaheen
Derek is a junior at Kansas State University majoring in Business Finance. His ACT composite score is a 33, with the following scores in each subject area: English 32, Math 30, Reading 34, Science 35. Derek's superpower areas are Math and Science, however, he tutors in all 4 subject areas of the test. He joined the Power Prep tutoring team in 2018.

Dedra Braxmeyer
Dedra is a full-time math teacher who is currently teaching AP Calculus AB, Accelerated Algebra II, and Trigonometry at Manhattan High School. Her 22 years' teaching experience ranges from Algebra I to Calculus. In 2019, she received the Kansas Master Teacher award. She has a Bachelor's degree in Math Education and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology. Her superpower subject of ACT tutoring is, of course, Math. Dedra joined the PowerPrep team of tutors in 2021.

Lauren Chamberlin
Lauren is a senior at Kansas State University, majoring in English with a 4.0. She will be graduating KSU Fall 2021, but will continue her education for a Masters and PhD in English. Lauren was awarded the Most Promising Student in the English Department at KSU in 2019. Lauren scored a 32 in Reading, and a 31 in English on the ACT. Her superpower subjects are English and Reading. Lauren joined the team in 2020.

Diana El-Koubysi
Diana graduated from Kansas State University in May 2021 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and minor in Economics. She currently has a full-time position with J..B. Hunt Transport as a Logistics Engineer. Diana scored a 32 on her ACT with a 36 in English, 29 in Math, 31 in Reading, and a 30 in Science.
Her superpower is English. She currently lives in Bentonville, AR and is available for online tutoring.
