SAT - PSAT Prep
Option 1- PSAT/SAT One-Session Class
This class consists of 3 hours of instruction on the three SAT subject tests. Students gain insight into the test’s content and format while learning practical test-taking strategies for maximizing their test score. This class covers general ideas about the test as a whole, as well as specific strategies for each sub test:
- Writing-Learn how to write a quality SAT essay and how to improve sentence and paragraph errors.
- Critical Reading-Learn how to tackle tough SAT vocabulary and find your best method for reading comprehension passages.
- Mathematics-Learn what problem-solving skills and math skills you need and how you will be tested.
Cost & Payment
Power Prep’s fee is $35 per student for a minimum of 25 students. There is no maximum; however, the class limit should be based on the size of your instructional facility. Payment is not expected prior to or at the workshop. After the workshop, we will invoice your school for the total number of students in attendance. If the minimum of 25 students is not met, the charge will be a flat rate of $875. All travel expenses are included in the student rate if your school is within a 3-hour radius of Kansas City. There are no additional hidden fees. For schools outside this area, a minimum of 40 students is required or a flat rate of $1,400 is charged to cover all travel expenses.
Option 2 – PSAT/SAT Two-Session Class
These classes include 5 hours of instruction on the three SAT subject tests. Students gain insight into the test's content and format while learning practical test-taking strategies for maximizing their test score. Strategies for the SAT’s required essay are included in the class. An essay is not required as part of the PSAT. However, students taking this class for PSAT preparation will also be prepared for SAT tests taken after the PSAT.

Cost & Payment
Power Prep’s fee is $55 per student with strategies materials included. A minimum of 20 students is required. If the minimum of 20 students is not met, the charge will be a flat rate of $1,100. We invoice your school after the workshop for the total number of students who attended one or more classes.
